Stop! – the best way to see nature’s wonders

Spring is the time for new beginnings and growth. And hope. In nature and in life in general. Somehow very appropriate that I am beginning this blog in the spring.

In the spring new beginnings are everywhere in the nature. And hope and belief are present too – they are ingrained in plants and wildlife. Winter is not yet fully gone when the first spring plants and animals show up, they have faith in spring. They believe that snow will melt, the sun will shine and it will be warm – and that they can survive and reproduce. That’s the purpose of their life. That is one of the many wonders of nature.

The purpose of this blog is to show you the wonders of nature. But here the wonders are not grandiose nor world famous. Instead they are common everyday things and events we hardly notice or pay any attention to. Such as the hard work of ants or beautifully colored clouds in the sky or birds chirping early in the morning. There is some form of nature’s wonder in everyone’s life – you just need to stop and take a careful look in order to see it.

Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so is nature too. We all see and experience nature differently. And that’s just how it should be. In this blog I show what I have seen, experienced and learned in nature. I warmly welcome you to join me in this virtual nature tour. And if you are in Finland in the Naantali area you can join me in nature too.
